Visit Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information regarding the amount of taxes that each entity that taxes your property will impose if the entity adopts its proposed tax rate. Your local property tax database will be updated regularly during August and September as local elected officials propose and adopt the property tax rates that will determine how much you pay in property taxes.
Anna ISD was represented by Mathai Palathunkal from Harlow Elementary (now CCMS) and Amri Marquez from Slayter Creek Middle School at the 2024 Lone Star Leadership Academy Camp this summer. Anna ISD teachers nominated the students to participate based on demonstrated leadership ability, academic success, and involvement in school/community activities.
Bus registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.
Important Dates:
- July 28: Register by this date to guarantee transportation on the first day of school.
- After July 28: Students registered after July 28 may not be eligible to ride the bus during the first week of school.
At last week's school board meeting, the Anna ISD Education Foundation presented Anna ISD Career and Technical Education Director Ted Mackey and Coordinator Emily Burke with a $40,000 check for the CTE program.

In collaboration with The City of Anna, Anna ISD hosted "Multicultural Night" on May 7, a remarkable celebration of diversity and community spirit! Drawing in approximately 500 attendees and featuring over 25 cultures, it provided a platform for participants to sample foods, traditions, and customs from around the world, all within the familiar surroundings of our city.
