Shelli Conway was honored at the November School Board meeting for her 17 years of service to Anna ISD, and Anna’s mayor, Pete Cain, proclaimed November 21, 2024, as Shelli Conway Day. During her tenure, Shelli helped guide the district through an extraordinary period of growth and development.
At Clemons Creek Middle School, history truly came to life for Mr. Kyle Alcosiba's 7th-grade students during an exciting Texas Revolution Breakout EDU game. Designed to engage students in active learning, this hands-on activity had students working together to solve clues and unlock boxes, all while exploring key events and figures from the Texas Revolution.
Anna ISD 8th-grade students from both middle schools recently embarked on a journey through our “Career Passport” event, discovering pathways that align with their unique interests and aspirations. Before attending, they used Xello to explore careers, which helped them come prepared with insights about the fields that excite them the most.
The Anna High School English Language Development and Acquisition students have been working on a special project in the MakerSpace.
Anna High School Senior Bryce Denton is the 5A Cross Country State Champion. Bryce ran a 15:17, winning with a 15-second lead.
At the Fourth General Session of the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Presley Merritt was announced as the 2024 Small Animal Production and Care Proficiency National Champion. The National Proficiency Award Program seeks to recognize the growth and development of students through their Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAEs).
